Abstract:

The coast land portion of Xiang’an subsea highway tunnel in Xiamen has large crosssection and is located in fully～heavily weathered granodiorite. The construction methods, construction organizations and machinery matching for the coast land portion of Xiang'an tunnel are presented in the paper. The applicability of CRD construction method for large crosssection tunnels located in such geological conditions and the technical measures and machinery matching technology taken to achieve safe and rapid tunnel construction are focused in the paper.
