Abstract:

Taking the construction of No. 2 Taohuapu tunnel on Xi'anNanjing railway as example, the article describes the technology of type selection and matching of machinery for the drill+blast construction of long single track railway tunnels, the layout of the track system and the dispatching of the locomotives and wagons inside the tunnel and the organization of the locomotives and wagons in portal portion of the tunnel. The article concludes that the type selection and matching of the construction machinery is one of the most critical factors that determine the success of the construction of long tunnels. The rapid driving of the tunnel will provide reference for similar tunnel works in the future.
