Abstract:

During the boring of a running tunnel on line 3 of Guangzhou Mass Rapid Transit system, the shield machine was blocked. By means of blasting technology, the blocked shield machine was relieved. In the paper, the application of the blasting technology is presented, including the blasting scheme, blasting parameter design, blasting execution and safety countermeasures.
