TBM是目前长大隧道施工最先进的大型工厂化成套设备，具有安全、快速、环保等诸多优势，在发达国家已经成为隧道施工的首选设备，但在我国却一直无法大范围推广应用，对于提升我国隧道施工技术水平极为不利。透过TBM在我国的应用现状，分析存在的问题，探讨其未能大范围推广应用的原因，探索出推广应用TBM法施工的措施，并提出正确对待TBM的适用范围、合理降低设备成本、科学筹划工期、编制合理的工程造价等建议。

TBM is the most advanced equipment for tunnel construction. Tunneling by TBM is safe, fast and environmentfriendly. TBM has become the first equipment for tunnel construction in developed countries. However, TBM has not been widely used in China, which is harmful to the enhancing of the tunnel construction technology in China. In the paper, the status of TBM application in China is presented, the problems in TBM application in China are analyzed, the reasons why TBM has not been widely used in China are discussed, measures to promote TBM application in China are explored, and suggestions, including proper understanding of the application scope of TBM, proper reducing the cost of TBM, proper planning of works construction period and proper preparing of works cost, are made.
