The key design and construction points of the waterproofing and drainage of Xiang’an subsea tunnel, which is the first subsea tunnel in mainland China, are presented in detail. The critical points and key technologies of the waterproofing and drainage construction of the subsea tunnel are emphasized. The paper can provide some useful reference for the waterproofing and drainage construction of other underwater tunnels in the future.
