琼州海峡跨海工程是粤海铁路必经之路，无可绕避。根据对琼州海峡自然条件状况资料的分析以及对国内外已修建的部分大直径盾构法水下隧道的调研，采用盾构法修建琼州海峡铁路隧道是较为合适的。在此基础上，提出了对建设跨琼州海峡铁路隧道的初议和几个跨琼州海峡的铁路隧道工程的方案以及与桂海铁路相关的意见。这将对跨琼州海峡这一项“世界级”工程的建设，提供参考和借鉴。

 Qiongzhou Strait Crossing Project is an integral part of GuangdongHainan railway. On basis of analysis on the documents related to the natural conditions of Qiongzhou strait and investigations on the largediameter shieldbored underwater tunnels built in China and foreign countries, the author believes that it is suitable to build  Qiongzhou Strait Crossing Railway Tunnel by means of shield boring method. Then, the author makes some preliminary proposals for Qiongzhou Strait Crossing Railway Tunnel and NanningQinzhouYangpu railway. The paper can provide reference for the construction of Qiongzhou Strait Crossing Project in the future.
