On basis of the serial communications technology of Visual Basic code and the working principle of the automatic concrete mixing plants used for the construction of the passengerdedicated railways, the author expounds on the principle of the automatic control of the construction machinery by means of the serial communications technology of Visual Basic 6.0, which provides a new method to realize the automatic control of the construction machinery.
