The entrance portion of the right tube of Jiakeng tunnel is located in soft ground with uneven pressure. During the construction of the tunnel, collapses occur at the open tunnel, which imposes impact on the construction of the underground tunnel. On basis of the geological conditions of the tunnel, the design proposals are timely adjusted, consolidation grouting is conducted from the ground surface, the reinforcement measures for the underground tunnel are adjusted and additional measures against the uneven pressure are taken, so that the construction of the tunnel portion in soft ground with uneven pressure is accomplished successfully.
