On basis of the temperature measurement results and the technical parameters of the EPB shield tunnel boring machine of 6250 diameter used in line 2 of Guangzhou Metro, the article makes a simple calculation of the heat balance of the shield TBM to obtain a simple description of the heat dissipation process of the shield driven Metro tunnel, which can be used to provide reference for similar projects in the future.
