Based on the construction of the inclined shaft of Fangdoushan tunnel, the authors briefly summarize the construction of steep and curved inclined shafts with large crosssection in waterrich ground. In addition, they introduce the key construction technology of such projects. This paper can provide reference fo7r similar projects in the future.
