掘进机在设计制造时难以做到尽善尽美，在掘进机使用中一些制约施工的设备问题频繁出现。通过对隧道掘进机施工过程中设备存在的问题进行分析，在此基础上对设备系统进行技术改造，从而达到降低工程成本、减少工序循环时间、提高设备利用率的目的，并以此证明对某些进口设备进行技术改造的重要性和可行性。

Due to the shortcomings in the design and manufacturing of tunnel boring machines, malfunctions frequently occur to some critical parts of TBM during boring. The malfunctions are analyzed and the parts subject to malfunctions are rehabilitated, which in turn minimizes the construction cost, shortens the boring cycle and improves the machine availability. The rehabilitation practice demonstrates the importance and feasibility of the rehabilitation of imported equipment.
