根据江底的工程地质条件和水文条件，以及江底隧道施工的特点，提出了使用于江底隧道施工用盾构机的型号和基本配置要求。同时还就泥水式平衡盾构机的体系选择、刀盘配置做了讨论。

According to engineering geological conditions and hydrologic conditions at the bottom of the river and construction characteristic of river-crossing tunnel, the mode of shield machine for river-crossing tunnel construction and fundamental configuration requirements are put forward. Meanwhile, a discussion on the selection of soil water balance shield machine and cutter heads configuration has also been made.
