Abstract:

Taking Jinjishan tunnel as project case, the paper expatiates on the waterproofing and drainage measures taken during the tunnel lining construction. The paper provides detailed description of the construction methods for the plastic drainage blind ditches, drainage systems of the short side walls, waterproofing membranes, watersealing strips for the construction joints and settlement joints, the secondary lining and the crown grouting. The paper also recommends some items to which special attention should be paid during construction and provides some new construction concepts.
