He is the expert panel member for tunnels/shafts/stations for London Crossrial project for Government and City Transport Sponsor.

摘要： 北京7•21特大灾害与城市排水系统有关，而且近些年国内城市内涝增多。鉴于此，本刊特邀国际隧道协会前主席Martin C. Knights先生介绍了英国伦敦的地下排水系统的建设情况，包括伦敦维多利亚时期建设的排水系统、正在建设以及将要建设的排水系统，以期为我国的城市建设提供参考。同时，Martin C. Knights表示业主泰晤士水务公司（Thameswater）在全球寻求感兴趣的承包商，对在施工与伦敦Tideway隧道工程类似的复杂软弱地层条件下的重大城市隧道工程有经验的亚洲承包商/供应商，很有兴趣并期望与他们合作。
