Abstract:

The prefabrication of the reinforced concrete segments is one of the most important aspects of the shielddirven tunnel construction. On basis of engineering practice, the article expatiates on the design and prefabrication process and test methods of the segments, as well as on the issues to which special attention should be paid during the transportation of the segments. The article places it emphasis on the presentation of the key procedures of the prefabrication of the segments.
