Abstract:

Analysis is made on the economical efficiency, environmental protection performance and mucking efficiency of continuous belt conveyor systems, with TBM2 bid section of the first stage of Dahuofang Water Diversion Project in Liaoning province as an example, so as to select a proper mucking method. The selection of the widths and materials of the belt are presented in detail. The components, working principles, structure types and operation manners of the continuous belt conveyor system are described, items to which attention should be paid during the operation of the continuous belt conveyor system are summarized and countermeasures are proposed. In the end, effective cooperation between the TBM and the continuous belt conveyor system has been achieved, good construction environment has been ensured and high construction efficiency has been obtained.
