Abstract:

A lot of pumps and fans are used in tunnel construction. Due to the ignoring of the systematic effect of the pumps and fans during type selection and pipeline design, unfortunately, some of the pumps and fans can not do a good job. The types and influence of systematic effect and the calculation of the additional resistance induced by the systematic effect in the resistance calculation of pipeline networks are presented in the paper. It is concluded that the systematic effect has great influence on pumps, fans and pipelines.
