Development of Electrical Control System of Test Bench of Rock Breaking System of Tunnel Boring Machines

Abstract:

A test bench is developed for the rock breaking system of tunnel boring machines, so as to provide cutting tools suitable for the specific geological conditions. In the paper, the electrical control system of the test bench is presented in detail. The electrical control system is composed of console and PC. Profibus bus control mode is adopted and precise control is realized by means of proportional valves, magnetic valves, etc. The design concept and test results of the power supply and distribution system, PLC control system and data acquisition system are studied and presented with emphasis. The test result shows that the control system is reliable and practical.
