Abstract:
The waste slurry will be definitely produced during slurry shield tunneling, which would cause serious environmental pollution and high cost. As a result, it is used to replace bentonite and water in backfilled grouting slurry of shield tunnel; and then the influence of it on performance of backfilled grouting slurry is studied. The results show that: 1) The grouting material with specific gravity of 1.16 and viscosity of 22 s is better than the original slurry in terms of flowability and consistency. 2) The grouting material with specific gravity of 1.27 and viscosity of 24 s would reduce the flowability of slurry and affect the pumpability of slurry. 3) The performance of new backfilled grouting slurry can meet relevant requirements by appropriately adjusting watercement ratio and slurry specific gravity. 4) The reusing of waste slurry is economical and environmentally friendly.
