Abstract:

Taking the construction of Xingwangmao tunnel on TaiyuanZhongwei railway in poor geology and bitter climate as an example, the authors present the rapid construction technologies for tunnels in such complicated geological conditions as collapsed loess, argillaceous siltstone, sandstone and mudstone， alternative strata and ground with developed joints and stratifications, high water levels and large scale of irregular sand lens at the arch position, which include drilling and blasting technology, excavation and transportation technology, waterproofing and drainage technology during construction and tunnel ventilation technology. This paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
