Abstract:

Due to the different grounds to be excavated, different cutters have different wearing manners during the boring of shield machines. On basis of researches, several cutter wearing prediction methods are established. In the paper, the author presents the application of the boring parameter analysis method in the cutter wearing predictions. Furthermore, the author also presents a project case in which the boring parameter analysis method is applied to predict the cutter wearing.
