Abstract:

Along with the exploitation and utilization of urban underground space, the construction problem of Metro station passing underneath buildings has aroused more and more attentions. Taking a Metro station in Beijing as the study object, the whole dynamic construction process of Metro station passing underneath buildings is simulated and calculated by using three different numerical simulation methods. The influence of different simulation methods on deformation of ground, surrounding rock and support structure are compared and analyzed. The research results show that the stress and deformation of the ground, surrounding rock and support structure are minimum while the building and its load are not considered; the settlement of the ground, the differential settlement of the foundations and the horizontal displacement are small, but the settlement trough is wide when the buildings are considered. The foundations have little influence on the settlement curves of the ground, but they can decrease the horizontal displacement of the ground, the settlement of the station crown, the displacement of the support structure and the axial force of the pile while the superstructure of the building is simplified as a uniform loading. Finally, the calculated ground settlement is compared with the actual settlement and they are the most proximal while the building is considered in the calculations.
