Abstract

The lessons and experience learned in the installation of the steel end shells of ShengwudaoDaxuecheng immersed tunnel in Guangzhou are summarized. It is concluded that the installation of large steel members with the millimeter level accuracy can be realized by means of accurate measurement, correct welding and installation technology and enough monitoring.
