High gantry crane and πshaped support system are used, so as to realize safe and rapid installation of steel box girder on smallradius curve in limited space in urban areas. The concept of station/viaduct integration and the plan of the installing of the steel box girder by means of πshaped support combined with gantry crane are presented, and the influence of the installing of the steel box girder on the Metro station is analyzed, with the installing of the steel box girder of an integrated station/viaduct in Hefei as an example. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The application of the station/viaduct integration concept minimizes building dismantling and cost; 2) Great difficulties have been conquered, and rapid, safe and economic parallel construction is guaranteed; 3) The safety requirement is met.
