With the development and operation of Metro systems in China, attentions should be paid to the influence of the vibrations induced by Metro trains on the surrounding environment. The influence of the vibrations induced by Metro trains on the construction of an underground shopping mall located above the Metro tunnel is analyzed by means of numerical simulation. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The vibration induced by Metro trains has some influence on the stress and deformation at key points during the excavation of the underground shopping mall. 2) The influence of the vibration induced by Metro trains on the construction of the underground shopping mall is minor. 
