When TBM passes along the intermediate floor slab of Dalongshan station of Chongqing Metro, deformation, instability or failure may occur to the intermediate floor slab. As a result, countermeasures, including strengthening the structure of the intermediate floor slab, reinforcing the intermediate floor slab by temporary supports, controlling the quality of the arcshaped cradle and strengthening the informationaided operation, are taken. In the end, the TBM passes along the intermediate floor slab successfully, inducing neither serious deformation nor damage to the station structure, which demonstrates that the TBM transferring program adopted is reasonable.
