Abstract

The three major development phases witnessed by immersed highway tunnels are summarized, the key technological issues of immersed highway tunnels, such as the longitudinal profile, structural crosssection, foundation and tube element joints of immersed highway tunnels, are analyzed, and the critical issues and solutions for Hong KongZhuhaiMacao immersed tunnel are presented.
