Application Prospect and Developing Trend of Synchronous Lining Construction Technology for Long Tunnels Constructed by Open TBMs

TBMs used in China mostly are open TBMs For long tunnels constructed by open TBMs, primary support and secondary lining are needed, which causes long tunnel construction period In the paper, the synchronous lining construction technologies for Zhongtianshan tunnel and West Qinling tunnel are presented and the developing trend of the synchronous lining construction technology is discussed.
