Comparison and Contrast between Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2013) and Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2003) and Comments on Fireprevention Zone Division and Safety Evacuation

In this paper, comparison and contrast is made between Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2013) (the current version) and Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2003) (the previous version). The study results show that the current version is superior to the previous version in terms of general plan layout, fireprevention zone division and safety evacuation. However, the fireprevention zone division and safety evacuation in the equipment management area still need to be further improved.
