The tunnel lining in China has many problems, such as uncompacted filling, hollows behind lining, local inadequate thickness and potential primary support cracks; and there is any related reference. The application of medium fluidity lining concrete in Japan is introduced in terms of basic concept, characteristics, principle for mixing proportions, design basic strength, construction, site testing, site application and application effect. The author suggests that the feasible lining concrete should be studied and developed.
