Abstract

The relationship between prefabricated metro station structure type and grouted mortisetenon joint performance is investigated by comparing and analyzing the internal force and deformation of four metro station structure types, i.e., pure hinged joint structure, variable stiffness joint structure, rigid joint structure, and castinplace structure. Furthermore, a comparative analysis is conducted on the influence of higharch and flatarch structures on the joints′ bearing performance based on the structural scheme selection of a Shenzhen prefabricated metro station. The results show the following. (1) The nonrigid grouted mortisetenon joint with variable stiffness and good deformation capacity has a noticeable amplitude modulation effect on the prefabricated component′s bending moment. (2) The safety margins of a higharch structure′s joints AB and BC are larger than that of a flatarch structure, and the top arch joint′s safety margin is weaker than that of flatarch structure joints. Considering that all joints are in the linear stage and the safety margin is enough, the flatarch structure is selected according to the comprehensive consideration of transportation and investment. (3) Each joint′s bearing capacity of the flatarch structure is evaluated using the joint bearing characteristic curve. The results prove that the joints meet the requirements, and there is still a large safety margin.
