Abstract

To reasonably quantify the greenhouse gas(GHG) emission intensity and level of opencut metro station construction, life cycle assessment method is adopted to conduct GHG emission assessment of opencut metro station in the construction phase. In addition, a GHG emission calculation formula for opencut metro station in the construction phase is established, and GHG emission intensity and level are quantitatively analyzed in case studies. The research results show that the total GHG emissions of the case opencut metro station in the construction phase are 47 718.61 tCO2e. Among them, the production, transportation, and construction of building materials account for 88.91%, 3.92%, and 7.12%, respectively. The GHG emission intensity in the construction phase of the opencut metro station is 335.52 tCO2e/100 m2. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for promoting the green and lowcarbon transformation in the field of urban transport.
