Taking the construction of the gypsum section of a superlong highway tunnel as an example, the paper presents the technical measures taken during the construction of the gypsum section of the tunnel, so as to ensure the structural safety of the tunnel during excavation construction and to guarantee the operation safety and service life of the tunnel. The paper can provide reference for the construction of tunnels in similar geology in the future.
