Taking the construction of the diaphragm walls in Xufuxiang station and Xuanwumen station of Nanjing Metro as example, the paper presents the selection of the hoisting equipment, the determination of the positions of the hoisting points and the allocation of the hoisting tools, in order to ensure the safety and reliability of the hoisting of the huge rebar cages and connection piles and to avoid elastic deformations and reduced bending strength of the hoisted rebars and connection piles. Furthermore, the paper presents the process of the hoisting of the connection piles and rebar cages and the issues to which attention should be paid during hoisting.
