Taking Changlingguan tunnel as an example, the author presents some geology prediction methods that are suitable for the tunnel and are widely used on Hefei～Wuhan passengerdedicated railway in terms of working principle, applicability, advantages/disadvantages and application results, which can provide reference for the geology prediction of long tunnels and underground works in the future.
