Study on Construction Methods of Tunnels Embedded in the Loess

In combination with engineering cases, the geological characteristics, excavation and reinforcement methods of the tunnel in the loess are discussed. The stress distribution and the monitoring measurement in the construction of tunnel in the loess are presented. The scheme comparison and the numerical analysis are performed in this paper, which can give some help to other construction of tunnels embedded in the loess.
