An Analysis on the Adaptability of the Cutter Head of Disc Cutter of Shield Machine to the Strata

During shield construction, cutters selected often change with different geological conditions. By analyzing the rock-breaking mechanism of cuter heads with different structures and in combination with the on-site practice experience, this thesis points out the strata to which different cutter heads adapt, which provides theoretical basis for cutter model selection.
