Selection of Construction Scheme for Connection
Section between Horizontal Adit and Main Tunnel in Soft Ground

Regarding the construction of the connection section between the horizontal adit and the main tube of Liangshui tunnel on LanzhouChongqing railway, two construction schemes are presented and analyzed in the paper. In the end, the first scheme is adopted. The technical measures taken in the construction are described. The construction practice demonstrates that the construction scheme adopted is suitable for the construction of the connection section between the horizontal adit and the main tunnel in soft ground.
