Selection of Crosssections and Muck Loading and Transportation Equipment
for Inclined Shafts of Muzhailing Tunnel with Track Transportation System

The crosssection optimization and equipment selection for No. 3 and No. 4 inclined shafts of Muzhailing tunnel are presented. In the end, the mode of main inclined shaft and assistant inclined shaft with small crosssections is adopted. Discussion is also made on the selection of the construction equipment for the inclined shafts with track transportation system. The paper can be served as reference for similar projects in the future.
