The Journal of Tunnel Construction(hereinafter referred to as Journal) is a monthly journal first published in 1981. The China Standard Serial Number of the Journal is 44-1745/U (changed from 41-1448/U in 2017) and the International Standard Serial Number is 2096-4498 (changed from 1672-741X in 2017).
The aim of the Journal is to cultivate talented persons in the field of tunnels and underground works, and to promote the technical exchange of tunnels and underground works.
The scope of the Journal includes new theories, methods, technologies, equipments, materials, experience, project practices and technical information and trends in the field of tunnels and underground works. The Journal only publishes innovative, practical, systematic, oriented or argumentative papers.
The digital versions of the papers published in the Journal were stored in the homepage of the Journal as well as CNKI, Wangfang Database, CQVIP, etc.
The Journal is authorized by China Railway Tunnel Group Co., Ltd. and sponsored by China Railway Tunnel Consultants Co., Ltd. Since 2017, the Journal can publish papers either in Chinese or English. There are more than 100 famous experts and scholars related to tunnels and underground works in the advisory board and editorial board of the Journal.
The Journal is issued to relevant engineering companies, universities and scientific research institutions in China. The readers are experts and technicians major in the planning, design, construction, research and management in the field of tunnels and underground works and experts, professors, teachers and students of relevant universities.
The Journal has been included by Scopus, Core Journals of China, Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Paper, Abstract Journal(AJ), EBSOC Database, etc.
