Abstract:

Muck conditioning, tunneling parameters control of composite TBM, temperature of cooling water for cutterhead and project geological condition are analyzed in this paper, in the interest of solving mud cake in cutterhead during composite TBM tunneling in urban metro. Then, a compositive system for ensuing smoothly TBM tunnellling without mud cake or with little mud cake is proposed, including muck conditioning, tunneling parameters adjustment of composite TBM and cooler circulated cooling water.
