Static and Dynamic Response of Old Clay under Unloading

Abstract:

This article focuses on strainstress behavior of old clay in Wuhan along with different unloading ratio based on triaxial tests, compared with researches on soft clay. With utilizing DuncanChang constitutive model, a favorable consideration of Wuhan old clay may be given in nonliner and nonelastic model and constitutive parameters, which would be validated by many experiments, and may be useful for conducting practical projects in terms of the acquisition of constitutive parameters and models.
