Abstract:
Archbox structure is adopted for the cut and cover tunnel of JC3 bid section of Jichang Road in Xiamen so as to achieve smooth connection between the tunnel and the existing roads. The difficulties in the construction of the archbox structure of the cut and cover tunnel are analyzed and the key construction technologies therein are discussed. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The archbox structure adopted for the cut and cover tunnel ensures the smooth connection between the tunnel and the existing roads under the complex site conditions; 2) Largespan archshaped lining formwork trolleys are developed and applied, which improves the quality and working efficiency of the tunnel lining; 3) The concrete for the arch of the tunnel is cast symmetrically and layer by layer, which efficiently avoids cold joints.
