Mechanical Matching for Doubletrack Railway Tunnels Constructed by  DrillingandBlasting Method and Analysis on Its Applicability:  Case Study on Tunnels on GuiyangGuangzhou Railway

Abstract:

The applicability of mechanical matching of doubletrack railway tunnels constructed by drilling and blasting method is systematically analyzed in terms of progress, safety, quality and economic efficiency, with the doubletrack tunnels on GuiyangGuangzhou railway as an example.The application range of mechanical matching at present and in the future is predicted. It is proposed that shotcreting robot and trench formwork trolley should be popularized first for tunnels constructed by drillingandblasting method before mechanical matching is adopted gradually for all large crosssection tunnels constructed by drillingandblasting method. The trend of mechanical matching is prospected.
