Abstract:

Suzhou has accumulated some experience from the planning and construction of Phase I and Phase II projects of Suzhou rail transit works, however, Suzhou also faces some problems to be solved. In order to achieve better planning and construction of rail transit works in the future,it is necessary to summarize the experience accumulated in the planning and construction of Phase I and Phase II projects of Suzhou rail transit works. In the paper, the development of the planning and construction of Suzhou rail transit works is reviewed, and the experience in the management system, public transport integration, network resource sharing, land acquisition and demolition, quality control and engineering safety of Suzhou rail transit works is summarized. Furthermore, proposals are made on the land control system and design system. 
