Abstract:

During the construction of intercity rail transit projects, the influence of the construction of deep foundation pits on the adjacent buildings has to be minimized. In this article, the influence of the construction of the deep foundation pit of GZH5 bid section of DongguanHuizhou intercity rail transit project on the adjacent buildings and its control technologies are studied, and comparison and contrast is made between the displacement of adjacent buildings before grouting reinforcement and that after grouting reinforcement, and between the finite element analysis result and the monitoring result. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The distance between the foundation pit and the adjacent buildings is the main factor that influences the displacement of the adjacent buildings; 2) The finite element calculation model can effectively predict the displacement of the adjacent buildings during the construction of the foundation pit and thus the prediction result can provide reference for the determination of the building reinforcement measures; 3) The grouting reinforcement measures taken are reasonable and feasible for the control of the displacement of adjacent buildings.
