Application of SAA Technology in Monitoring of Tunnels on ChengduLanzhou Railway

Abstract:

The SAA (Shape Accel Array) technology has been successfully used in the monitoring of the serious deformation section of the inclined shaft of Maoxian Tunnel on ChengduLanzhou railway. In this paper, the working principle of SAA, the layout of monitoring points, the interpretation of monitoring results, the error and automatic warning are presented and analyzed. The study shows that compared to conventional tunnel monitoring technology, SAA technology is more automatic, informationalized and timely. The paper can provide reference for management of tunnel monitoring and safe construction.
