Abstract

Abstract:

The shield boring difficulties and countermeasures are summarized, with the shield tunneling of TJSG-4 Bid section on No 3 Line of Xi’an Metro as an example. The main effective factor on shield selection and cutterhead cutting tool design goes to beating number larger than 45. The requirement for wearing resistance of cutterhead and cutting tool is much higher when shield boring in sandy stratum.
