Analysis of Key Construction Control Technologies for Shield Tunnel with High Gas Concentration

Abstract:

The shield tunneling in ground with high gas concentration of Metro projects is not common in China currently. The preparation, sectioning of gas, gas gushing volume and key system design of shield tunnel with high gas concentration are analyzed and discussed based on construction control technology. The gas monitoring system, ventilation system and local rehabilitation and redesign of shield are carried out. Meanwhile, the key construction control technologies, i.e. mucking, ground conditioning, shield tail sealing and shield boring parameter control, are studied. The construction practice shows that the gas volume can be controlled by using abovementioned technologies.
