Abstract:
The improvements of geological prediction and informatized technologies are the keys to safe and efficient construction of tunnel in complex and bad geological conditions. The technologies used in China are introduced as follows: 1) The development and application of advanced geological prediction technologies of tunnels in complex and bad geological conditions, i.e. methods and equipments for water and mud inrush sources detection, advanced prediction of fault and fracture zones and detection of karst caves and boulders in urban Metro construction. 2) Monitoring and forewarning methods for rockbust in tunnel. 3) Building information modeling (BIM) technology, including realtime perceiving and realtime warning systems. Afterwards, the developing directions of informatized technology of tunnel construction are proposed, including analysis and control of TBM/shield construction based on big data technology and digital tunnel and intellectualized tunnel.
